Why do you not just import real terrain?

You'll need to use a blue coloured texture and paint underwater to get the colour to come through. You can also edit the water colour too.

Why don't some of you wise guys write a guide for doing it and explain it to the rest of us? News Flash: We have no clue how to do things like that and no one cares to explain in depth. **!!bang!!**

Firstly, explaining in depth is VERY difficult. Secondly, there are several tutorials out there.

Lemme make it clear for you. In the editor all you gata do is to drop the land deep enough for the water to go over. Simple enough.

I'll write up a tutorial over the next few days. Learning to use the editor and it's tools takes time so go easy on the people who don't know how to do things we can do.

Thank you in advance. Many of these tutorials are nice (and helpful) however when you think you've done it all correctly and then get a mysterious message or it doesn't work at all then what? Been there about six times in the last month.

All I did was paint the ground with a few shades of tarmac and put sand on the edge. I then made the water more blue.
I've got screenshots of everything I've done that will be in the tutorial.
