.hgt files not working

Hello, I'm trying to repair some terrain on the route I'm working on. And I can't seem to get RW to read the .hgt files in the DEM folder. I used ReDEM to generate the terrain when I started the route. Any help or ideas are appreciated. Thanks in advance. :)
