SP defect detectors on Donner Pass?

SP defect detectors on Donner Pass?

Does anybody know how I can get the defect detectors on Donner Pass to work in my own scenarios? I can't figure it out.

I haven't looked in a while, but IIRC the detector is a dummy signal.
