Portland Terminal has so many cool assets. Wish it WAS freeware. Or even a cheap asset pack.

I suspect its a simple track model (maybe even just a face) which has been alpha'd out so you can't see it.

For those who are wondering why we need "invisible track",here is an example. I am recreating Washington Court House Ohio at the moment. In the park on display is C&O Kanawaha 2776.It rests on a set of rails on a foot or so longer than the wheelbase of the loco and tender. You can't place rolling stock on that short of a piece of track in RW. I ended up getting Portland Terminal a few months back, and was happy to see invisible track.(Pun intended) I added a segment to each end of the track, and then I could place the engine right up to the end,no problem. I have not looked through the wiki or guides to see if it is easy to create or modify existing track to make invisible. When I started my route,I really wanted to not use any payware assets. But I think many USA modelers have Portland Terminal. Its is almost a must-have to me. Joe

I've got some track sections on my route made by SAD which are objects. They are in 4m sections so if the length you want happens to be in multiples of 4m then it could work.
