Electrifying track in RW ????

Unread postby jpetersjr » Sun Jan 13, 2013 10:43 am

Does anyone know how to electrify track in RW.

I've started work on my 30's route again and I want to electrify the track for use with a PNN 1930's electric engine I have planned.

In your track rules blueprint file. You have two sections, the first part is for the <DefaultElectrification> and your choices are Overhead wires, Third rail, Fourth rail then the next section deals with what objects to use depending on if you selected Overhead wires or Third or Fourth rail. I'm attaching one of my track rules file for a electrified line in my route, you can look through and use it as an example to help you create a track rule for your route. You should be able to open this file with any text editor, but I recommend the ConTEXT programmers editor that can be downloaded from http://www.contexteditor.org/downloads/
