switch stand replacement

Unread postby DaveS » Wed Feb 25, 2009 9:28 pm

Hey guys, I'd like to replace the default switch stands in Cajon, with Tom Moyers excellent stands.Would this be a difficult process?? and if not could someone please give me some guidance, or shoot me in the right direction.I'm finding it very difficult to do any switching, also are there any track diagrams for Cajon?? The 2d map works well for close up,but when your in a large yard its hard to find certain tracks..
Thanks..
Dave..

HI Dave,
You will have to find the switch entries in the bin files and replace them with the new switches xml reference. Then you will probably have to manually realign each switch so it lines up with the points. Alternately, you can change the switch reference in the track rule, go break each switch, and then you will have the new switch stand we you remake the switch. Anyone else know of a quicker way?

Thanks
