When editing a route and working with track if you press the space bar the track turns color, if you press again it is a different color until you cycle all the way through and end up at the normal looking track. What does all that mean??

It's been a while but if you check the manual they are explained. They indicate different priorities for signalling etc... I can't remember what's what but I do remember that I used the feature extensively when I was setting up signals and track blocks etc...

The first use of the space bar shows line type (Mainline, Freight, Passenger, Yard), the second is line direction (Up, Down, Both), the third is line speed, and the fourth (I believe) are track sounds assigned to that section.

I found the place in the manual where it talks about this but it does not say what color means what..

Line type colors are yellow (mainline), red (freight) brown (yard), and blue (passenger). Speed colors change depending on what's set in the right track properties menu.
