"Object Set Filter" - What are these icons for?

Unread postby wacampbell » Thu Aug 02, 2012 11:41 am

In the "Object Set Filter" flyout dialog, there are three icons ( a semaphore signal, a train, and an eyeball ) over the selections boxes.

I know this is all about selecting which items appear in the scenery selector flyout on the left, but what do these icons mean and the checkboxes below?

Thanks

If you are in the world editor and you click the first icon then all the providers will show up on all scenarios on that route, the second one you use in the scenario editor and assets only show up in that scenario. (Best Choice IMHO) and not really clear on the eye icon

I might have figured out the eyeball icon. It allows you to remove that object set from the selection list, without removing it from the route.

I beleive the eyeball is for whether you can see it or not in the equipment list. So you can hide it from view after you use it? But don't take that to the back. I read something somewhere but it was so long ago I can't remember.
