Warren Truss bridges

Unread postby RAILSOHIO » Mon Jun 18, 2012 7:16 pm

What would really help us American route builders are more through-truss bridges.Similar to the B1 and B2 50 meter spans, but shorter, rectangular, not arched, and with no road deck,to use for railroad. Yes I do have the COA repaints of the other truss road bridge. HS curve is the only payware route I have installed. I have tried hard to limit any payware assets in my route building, but are there any of these common conventional bridges in the payware routes? The SAL bridge shown in the Wikipedia entry is just what I mean.

If you have pictures of it I'll try my hand at building some, but need plenty of reference photo's.

I am going to see if I get any answers, first. If there really are none available in Railworks,I can build a few in Sketchup. I built one Ohio River bridge(Ironton) and imported it into Trainz. But I have yet to spend the time to do a RW import. I will consider your offer,if there are none available. Thanks

I see All Aboard's Rascal and Cottonwood have shorter Warren Trusses. Does anyone know if all their routes contain theses bridges?

Here's a two similar bridges that I built for the game, it also comes in double version as well. Perhaps these could be of some use to you.

Yet again spec5sx saves the day. I need exactly those for a 3 piece bridge. Been waiting 6 months for something to turn up. I should've known you'd have something in your bag of tricks !!*ok*!!

Yes thanks for the suggestion, but they are too long, and the concrete deck I can not use. So it appears spec5sx 's bridge is one that has not been released yet? It looks great!

Glad to help out! I have just the single track version, but I'm making the double track version right now.
Keep an eye on this thread and I will let you know where to download them.
