I am working on learning and creating a route based loosly on real world terrain. Having said that when I load up to work the Yellow Scenario marker is xxx feet below the terrain level and moves upward slower than a frozen slug. However if I open create a new sceanrio and put in the correct Lon/lat figures there is a yellow scenario marker at terrain level.

Question if I save at this point can I enter world editor and begin creating the laying of rail/scenery at that point?

Just flat fustrated ... !!jabber!!

If the yellow icon is below the terrain, click on the icon and press J. That will raise to terrain level.

Yes Bill you can ignore the placement of the scenario marker, that was made when the route was first build. It has to have one to go to edit mode with. All others will be at ground level since it is now raised to the elevation you wanted.

Just start building now.

If you create a new freeroam scenario with no engine, you can delete the one that is underground, then when you go to edit you will be in the place of the new scenario.
