Where to upload to?

Unread postby NDORFN » Sun Apr 01, 2012 9:19 pm

I'm not far off finishing my route to the point where track, signalling and roads are down, and would like to send it to a few volunteers to help me thoroughly test before I commit to scenery etc... Where on the internet does one upload large files for sharing to?

What is the current size of route? And how long is your route? BTW is it Caldwell County Railroad? with reflective fogliage? Batman is interested, remember? !*roll-laugh*!

My internet provider has a service to back up files on its servers, and I can share my files giving access (username and password) to anyone. I'm currently using 50GB to store (back up) my files at there, for example.

It looks like FileFactory allows up to 50 files and 2,000 MB for free.

Not sure how big the route will be once packaged. It is the Caldwell County Railroad, but this 'release' is without any foliage. I learned what I needed to from creating the scenery you saw, and am now putting it to use on an overall approach to the route. So there's every possibility that by the time I lay all the foliage the reflective issue will be resolved and you'll be able to do some sweet night missions.

Looks like it could be the ticket.

I'd upload it here but I don't want anyone assuming it's an actual complete route and chewing up thier data plan unawares.
