Hi

Can anyone point me in the direction of a gradient profile for the Shasta route please?

I'm thinking about starting it as a route project, initially the section from Dunsmuir to Mt Shasta, set in the early 1990s.

Thanks for any help.

You might want to check out this site:

They specialize in track profiles and charts. They do charge for there services, but you might want to shoot them an e-mail and see what they can do for you.

Regards

John

Sorry to bump, but did this ever get off the ground?

Reason for asking is, a chance visit to the Auran forum and a kiddie "demanding" someone makes the McCloud River Railroad for him in Trainz, presented the ideal short route for a RW project. Initially McCloud to Shasta but probably a good idea to include the main-line run downhill into Dunsmuir. Later extension eastbound from McCloud always a possibility.

However if this area is already being worked on I wouldn't want to tread on any toes - particularly as my interpretation from 6000 miles away might strain credibility a bit.
