Height adjustment settings.

Unread postby ChuckF » Sat Jan 21, 2012 2:01 pm

Hi! Sure hoping that everyone had a great holiday season! I sure did.

I would like to find the finest settings for terrain height adjustment. When using the Painting Tool/Height Tool, I'm using a brush size of 9, Brush Falloff of 1, Base Width of 8 and a Grid Size of 8. These setting just do not give a fine enough effect for me. Will changing the Grid Size help? Does anyone have a better combination? Cheers; Chuck F.

Try adjusting how fast the paint is applied. If you make it slow enough you can get little sprays with a quick mouse click. Hope this helps.

Hi Bob! Thanks for the reply, but what I was looking for are fine settings for the Height Tool, not the paint brush itself. Cheers; Chuck F.
