Exit route editor without saving?

Railworks 3
I am sure I am missing something but there seems not to be an "official" way to exit the route editor without saving?
You click the "drive" arrow but only saving lets you get out, you can also click the senario button but you still have to save.
I simply hit the windows key and close the app - but it seems a bit inelegant and dangerous...
Quite often you make a big mistake and don't want to save and undoing the disaster either takes forever or isn't possible.

That is the only way you can do it, to my knowledge.
I do it the same way. Do you really care if it is elegant? It don't see why it is dangerous.

If you run the editor in Windowed mode (a screen res smaller than your desktop res) you can exit without having to save. Just X out like any other Windows window.

Far out... for two years I've opened task manager and closed it manually when I've wanted to exit without saving **!!bang!!** . Windowed mode huh... Yep, this is why I come here.

If you use full screen hit alt tab to minimize the game then on the task bar right click and close

Ah so its not just me! - great...

Yes windowed mode works with the "X" but I am at the "nervous" stage, made a few mistakes and lost some edits so just being careful. I also wondered if this was different in Railworks 2? - (I have only used RW3)

also when you are in the eidtor and want to exit it, when it asks if you want to save say no, saves you closing the whole app down and restarting it
My scenarios are short, but they leave plenty of room for scope. Time to stretch to other routes I think
