Asset Block and 3D Trains Rural Landscape

Unread postby Shortliner » Sun Sep 25, 2011 11:32 am

Does 3DTrain's Rural Landscape work with the Asset block for anyone else? I was toying around with it earlier today, and I tried to lay down a forest of pine and oak, but it seems like no matter what number I put in, the tree population doesn't get bigger or smaller. Also, RSC claims that the trees will conform to the terrain with the Asset block, and yet I'm still getting trees that are going through the ground, no matter if it's 3DTrains trees or RSC's trees. Is anyone else getting this?

Rural Landscape trees, and as far I can tell, every scenery asset in the sim, can be used with the block assets tool.

Ok, finally figured out a way to get them to work and to get a realistic forest for the Appalachia mountains. :D

I also had some fun with the track roughness. I think I got the numbers that'll give a realistic feel of shortline operations. :D
