Track Problems and Textures

I am building a route using the Yard Track from Colton and Northern (yes, I know I can't distribute the track). I changed the textures for the route using the combined textures distributed by Sniper. Unfortunately, this seems to have messed up the track. I now get a wide black stripe running down the center of the track under the ties. Illustrations attached.

Second Problem. I had a few switches that were not rendered properly. I redid them (now on RW) While they rendered manual switches as desired, the switch levers or stands did not appear.
They show as manual switches and can be thrown on the 9 key map so they are manual switches. Another texture problem?

Any ideas? Thanks.

Ok. The problem is not textures. Problem is use of the AA03 Yard Track in Railworks. Laid a section of track in the default Cajon Pass Route of RailSim and then laid one in the same area in the default Cajon Pass Route of RailWorks. Results was the wide black stripe running through the center of the track when used in Railworks.

Any ideas anybody?

Yes Don, don't use that track. Marc says that some kinda change was made from RS to RW and it effects that particular track but the rest are okay. It will be looked into when Marc has the time.

Thanks, Rich. I will patiently wait for the fix. I have other track on the route. I wil work in those areas.

You can copy the LoftTexDiffAlpha.fxo from the RS\dev\Shaders folder to the RW\dev\Shaders folder which will solve the problem in RW. You could also edit the alpha channels in the *_YCap_Ballast_* and *_YTrk_Ballast_* texture and remove the grease stain by making the alpha pure black.
