The G Trax Swing bridge

Unread postby RAILSOHIO » Sun Jul 27, 2025 6:12 pm

I have both the original Portland and Main Lines Routes installed. I can not figure out where the swing bridge is in the menu. I have spent quite some time looking through assets,so any help would be appreciated. Joe

You will find it in Railworks/Assets/G-Trax/PortlandTerminal/RailNetwork/SwingBridge

Thanks for chiming in. I can not locate it in route building mode. All G Trax assets are enabled. I can find the Back Cove bridge approaches. But not the bridge itself. It says it is pickable in the blueprint. I must be missing something. I have been through every GX object 3 times.

I was under the impression that the turntable might be under the "signal" or the "turntable" section, since it relies on a train coming up to the bridge approaches for it to swing into place.

I tried every turntable object and they are just that. This sim could really benefit from an "eyedropper" tool to identify assets.

Found it. Remind me not to send messages while talking to someone in real life about turntables. !DUH! !!**sorry**!!

It's underneath the "track infrastructure" section that has the little semaphore symbol, listed as "GX_BackCoveSwingBridge".

My response must have come across wrong. I considered that since it operated like a TT it could be called that. I just found it before I read your message. Thanks for the effort. Now I have to see if I can set it up to operate.
