Object placement
Posted: Thu Jun 16, 2011 1:17 pmHi everyone. I was wondering, how much control do you have over object placement? Can it be pretty exact? For instance would it be easy to line up modular pieces?

Not quite true. There are no provisions for exact rotation of objects. You have decent control over X-Y-Z placement in the editor though, and you can work-around some of the issues by knowing the exact model dimensions and use the X-Y-Z placement dialog to get things to line up. If you need to rotate several objects into position, line them up first, then rotate the whole group.
