Portals

Unread postby kcs_fan » Mon Jun 06, 2011 7:48 pm

I have hesitated to post here, thinking I could find the information I needed somewhere within all of the posts, and anywhere else I could find Railworks 2 information. I give up. So please forgive this newbie just this once and someone please tell me how, (step by step) to create a portal. Thanks.

I can't help you with the portal issue, but is there some reason you hesitated posting here?
Have we done something wrong, or have I? !*don-know!*

No way Hawk! You guys have been really helpful! I hesitated to post here on this subject because I am a newbie, and I figured that somewhere out there the information I seek is there. I just didn't want to be a "newbie asking a stupid question". Thanks, Dru

creating a portal is like creating a signal in a way, you place it on the ground then attach the track part, then in this case name it.

The only stupid question is a question not asked. *!greengrin!* !*salute*!

OK, just so you don't make me an offer I can't refuse. !*roll-laugh*!

Use ground sirloin. Less fat. Now, mix in Worstershire sauce and Lipton's onion soup mix. Now just before you are ready to put it on the bun, put shredded sharp cheddar on it. Not that sliced crap, shred it yourself. A nice slice of red onion. Mustard and that mayo with horseradish mixed in. And please, if I want salad (meaning lettuce, pickles, tomato's ) I'll have it on the side. So no veggies. Just gimme a burger.

Dang it. 4:30am and now I'm hungry. !*hp*! Mmmmmm, I know. Corn beef hash and eggs. Gotta work at 6 anyways. See 'ya on the rails! !!*ok*!!

That's the right attitude. I just hate overloaded burgers which souces and lettuce oozing out of it. !*not-ok*!

Hmm. Your recipie sounds good, I think it's time that I (try) do my first own Burger. !**duh*!!
Thank you and "Enjoy your meal!"

Select it from the list and place it?

Aw geez! ! ! It was there all along! ! ! Yup, it was right in front of my face! *!!thnx!!* By the way, those burgers sound killer to me. I make one very similar using onion soup mix and ranch dressing. Tonight, it's going to be shrimp etouffe'. Thanks again.

Watch them portals on spawning AIs, I've been having fits with them, do to crashing the editor when you go back to re-edit. But with time you can make 'em work.
