Midwest Route

Unread postby harryadkins » Thu Jul 11, 2019 11:43 pm

Anyone have suggestions for freeware routes that might have the feel of midwestern railroads such as the Frisco, Rock Island, or M-K-T? I would like to do some Frisco reskins but need a route to run.

Just a thought, much of the Fort Smith route which is now KCS was Frisco before BN sold it off. Why not back date by using Frisco on that, certainly the North end, and I would think you get away with the Heavener end at a push. I’m a fan of the Frisco myself. Their GP40s wore 3 digits running numbers so the G-TraX version is ideal.
