UP Martinez Sudivision

Unread postby dleeboy » Fri Mar 03, 2017 8:37 pm

I have started a new route it is called the UP Martinez Subdivision. My route starts in Oakland California. The starting point will be at 14th Ave. I have not decided how far I will take it. But it will be at least up to Martinez. I am working on the Embarcadero right now. This route will take me along time to complete maybe a year. This is going to be a very detail route with what ability I have to do it.

This will be a Workshop route. I am only using American Routes to make this. And I will need a lot of routes to make it the way I want it to look like. I know a lot of people on this forum have most of the American route so this will not be a problem for most people. For those that do not I am sorry. Here are some screen shots. Once I get the Downtown finished I will make a video and post it here.

FYI RCAP has the correct signal heads.

Thank you for the iñformation. If i used them i could not put the route in the workshop. But I do appreciate the information. There are alot of RCAP assets i could use but then i would have to put the route onły on this Website.

You could always put it on the workshop and in the description say to download RCAP and have a link. It's only one download and I believe has a installer so it wouldn't be that much trouble for them. But just a idea.

That sounds great explain to me how to do that. If i use any third party assets to Train Simulator 2017 it won't let me put my route into the workshop.

I think want he means to say is that you can upload a Steam version of the route and then give a link to the Railworks America version...?

Never mind then. I didn't realize that you couldn't upload to the workshop with RCAP assets.

One of the routes that I am using is the North Jersey Coast route. And it has the same kind of signals as the Union Pacific uses in Oakland. Here is a screen shot from my route.

I have the downtown Embarcadero area finished. Here is a video I made today of that area and all I have done so far. The two screenshots are from Google Earth. One is the area I have done so far. And the other is the Yard that I will be doing next.

Can't wait to see more progress. I have a feeling this route will turn out to be a great success! !!*ok*!!

I do have one question: what DLC is required for the route? I know you mentioned that it would require quite a bit of US routes.

The amount is 10 Routes. This is what i need to make this route. Miami-New Jersey Coast Line-Pacific Surfliner- Peninsula Corridor-Northfolk Southern Coal Districk-Racetrack Chicago-Sacramento Northern-Sherman Hill-Soldier Summit-Stevens Pass. For me to make my Routes the way I like to make them I need a large amount of assets to choose from.

For those that don't like this I am sorry. This will take me probably a year to make it. There will be sales for those that are interested in my new route. And don't have all of these Routes. There are probably alot of people that already have all of these.
