Is there any way to change the appearance of the in game sun in TS? I want to enlarge it to make it more realistic, as well as change the texture.

In the time of day file you can change the sun radius. You can also edit the texture in the environment/texture folder.

Note, this only applies to the non-3d weather. 3d weather sun size is edited in the silverlight weather settings.

Ok, so which file do I need to edit to get the new texture appearing in the game? Do I need to export a new Sky Info BP, or can the existing files be altered?

Are there any specific requirements with the texture file size?

I've never done this previously, so no previous experience with this sort of thing.

It's "Object_sun01.ace" in environment\sky\textures. I've only seen it as a 256² 8-bit alpha texture so far but don't know if other things are possible. Higher resolutions should be possible, but I don't know why one would need them other than when creating a scene on another planet in another galaxy where the sun might be much bigger.

I don't think this is technically any different than creating a wagon repaint, you should have the same options open to you ranging from creating a completely new blueprint set with custom Skydome mesh and all to simply replacing a file in an existing setup.

Cheers
