Loft asset not showing up

Unread postby buzz456 » Mon Dec 26, 2016 3:45 pm

I am doing a beta test on a route and I have some loft assets not showing up. Most do but a few missing. They are there on the original route. They check OK with RWTools and are assigned in the route xml. I even went to a tile where the darn thing was (GNTX_WoodTrestle02) and it's listed as being there on the tile. At this point I'm completely baffled. Oh and if I add it with the world editor it shows up.

Any ideas? !!det!!

Could it be a low Level of Detail for those lofts that are not covered by your current Settings detail?

My last idea on that: check if the LoD of the assets is set to zero (or any other value) and change it to 10

I don't know what that means.

When I was redoing Donner Pass, a couple of times the assets wouldn't show correctly until I cleared the Blueprint Cache after doing some work.
Most of the time that doesn't happen, but in these cases it helped.

Jalsina is referring to the properties flyout when you double click the asset. Make sure the detail level is 10 in the upper right flyout.

LOD.jpg

Here's what I have. If I try to put a value in there it goes to -1. I assume the NA is where you want me to put 10.

Yes, where the "NA" is.
Apparently you can't set the detail level on that asset.

Sorry I´ve been most of the day busy.
Write 10 instead of N/A

That is weird. 10 is the max value for LoD. Try 9 then.

I think the N/A is "non applicable"
