The Full Bucket Line

Discussion about RailWorks route design.

The Full Bucket Line

Unread postby Logan20131 » Mon Nov 21, 2016 2:36 pm

Yes, I know there's some people trying to decide if this was a good Idea, But I would like to get a team of people who are willing to help make the Full Bucket Line for Railworks. Why do I want to build this route? Well, I'm creating the remake of the Full Bucketniers and working on the new Santa Fe 3751 Class 4-8-4 for railworks. If anyone knows of people to help build my new route I'd love it.

Thanks and have a wonderful day,
Logan Thurman

Sounds neat. I assume you're talking about the YouTube series by Luke Iverson?

Yeah, I asked Luke Iverson and he said I can make a reboot, but I need the Full Bucket Line to make the series with. That's why I need help on building the route.

Man if I knew anything about route building I would help! This was my favorite route to mess around on back in my MSTS days.

Logan,
Have you ever actually made anything? If so I must have missed it.

considering that it's, at last check, 110 miles, it's a very long and intricate route. I have a schematic for the route, so long as it's ok to post with the admin's permission of course!

It may be a while before you could make it but you could try creating the Full Bucket in TSW once the editing tools are released. The FBL IIRC is one of the first MSTS routes and it you could recreate it to be one of the first TSW routes too. We're going to need something to drive on besides Sandpatch. :D

so, here's a layout. Keep in mind, it's from FBL V 3. It might be best to overlook it and maybe, do just a little at a time.

Thanks, I'll have to use Sherman hill until I can get FBL done.

It'd be a good idea to keep note of the gradients and curves in the FBL if one wants to make it as real possible for TS. Also, you'd need a way to replicate the terrain as closely as possible.

Nonetheless, it'd be nice to see.

Okay, then that's going to make everything else worse. I don't even know how to build a route in TS.
