Terrain DEM Issue

I have a route that crossed into a new Lat Lon and or a different DEM (hgt) file area, and the terrain stops dem-ing at the border from one longitude to the next. Hitting âTâ on one side of the route is fine but stops at the point where it changes. If i go 110 miles into the new area (hgt file area) and hit 'T' noting, no terrain is dem'd....
Anyone know why or how to fix it.

Well, I haven't done it that way in a long time. Hey guys, can we have 2 hgt files in the SRTM folder at the same time? I think I did it that way before.
Have you checked your second hgt file to be sure it has data in it? (does the file size compare to the other one?) I have had a file before that contained no data.
I'll keep thinking on this one... hope someone else will chime in here, too.

Yeah i check the file and its the same size and looks like it has data in it.
And if you have a suggestion for a better way of doing it, i would love to hear....

I have two files in the dem folder and it works fine so far, but I am not really sure if I already reached the next area. On UKTS they also said it works with two files.

What do you mean with dem folder?
The Terrain folder in the route folder or that extra DEM folder.
I have nothing in my DEM folder, only another folder called SRTM. Why is there an extra DEM folder? I thought the dem data is placed in the route folder?

The dem data in .hgt format files go in the Railworks/DEM/SRTM folder. The tiles created by ReDem go in the route's Terrain folder.
