D&SNGRR

Does anybody know if the Durango and Silverton line is being updated any further, or is it just going to be left as is? If left, I would like to take over the project of finishing the scenery along the line, at the very least.

Why don't you ask Rick Grout. He is the creator. He's G-Trax.

Ok well then we shall see how it goes. Hope all goes well. The route has so much potential, and might help kickstart NG railroading in Railworks again.

Well, I've got the OK to start (or rather re-start) work on the D&SNGRR. Now, I'm for sure for now that im gonna be updating, replacing with new, and adding scenery along the line where appropriate, but I need some ideas for some rolling stock additions. I already know what is NEEDED for the route, but I want to hear what some people here WANT first. So give me some suggestions guys!

I'd like to see it back-dated to the 1890's.

For the time bein, I'm just adding scenery where it should be on the current line, and hopefully buildin the right rollin stock. Later on, though, I might make an older version for those freight haulers out there. For now though, the original is my priority. Naturally, you must have bought the original route for this to work.
BUT, my pc still wont start up. So, all I can do is tell how far I got. So far, ive added some fences and a few houses, and threw some more trees around.

I would love to see a 30's San Juan set, complete with a K28 on point. For the modern era, as it currently sits, some EBT hoppers would be nice for a work train. A C19 for switcher service could also be nice. Historically the type of freights that could be run over the line could include things such as mining traffic(Silver, gold, copper, zinc, uranium ores), materials to support mining operations. Agriculture, livestock, and timber could on occasion be seen on the line, but most of that stuff was seen down by Farmington.

A K-28 or K-36 was already in mind, since those are the main type used on the line now. But, rollingstock will be much later on, given theres lots to do with the line, and ive currently never built any rollingstock.
