An example: Track diverges in a 3 way wye. The center track is the through main, left branch is for the yard outfill, and the right track goes to a branch line.
If you use a 2H 3T signal, the main is the upper head, the others are shown by the lower head, e.g. either of the others selected is green on the lower head. Sort of makes sense...
However, shouldn't a 3H 3T signal display top green for through, center green for right, and bottom green for left (or vice versa as set up)? It doesn't, it acts as though it was a 2H 3T as above.
In a few places on one route, I've used a 2H 2T 1E for the yard and main, and added a third Head 1T 1T for the branch on the mast.
Am I wrong in how they should work? Help?
