Just a couple of questions

Unread postby dtrainBNSF1 » Sun Oct 26, 2014 2:09 pm

Hello all! This has nothing to do with my steam mods but I just have some route-related questions. If this isn't the right place to ask them then please point me in the right direction.

Has anybody made a modified version of Cajon Pass? I saw in the scenario section a download called "Mojave Sub" or something like that, but it seems that the current Cajon Pass from steam doesn't work with this.

Second question: I keep hearing about a turntable and roundhouse that used to be at Laramie but I can't find any traces as to where a roundhouse would have been located. I'm looking for photos of this for a future LONG term project of a steam era version of Sherman Hill. Again this will be a long term project. Could anyone here help me find pics of the Laramie roundhouse? I've already found some photographs of Cheyenne roundhouse, yard and station from the day but I can't find anything for Laramie.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's for Putnam-bsb-mojave-trona.

The link to find it is here. I think but not sure that that's the right one. http://www.otto-wipfel.co.uk/downloads-various/

Well I got it downloaded but as we speak the RouteSetup application is frozen and this is the 2nd time I've tried. Can I just copy-paste the Railworks folder that came with the download?

Just drill down through the folders until you get to the actual route (that's the one with the string of numbers) Just take that folder and put it into the routes folder. Are there a bunch of assets included in the package?

There are 41 different folders in the assets folder.

I've got it installed and I'm now doing a quick running tour of the Union Pacific line from Mojave to West Colton and I must say that I am VERY pleased with the route so far. It looks great with lots of scenery and plenty of vegetation. Thanks for your help Buzz! **!!bow!!** *!!thnx!!*
