Overall updating to TS2015 went well for my TS configuration and for the most part from a players perspective other than the 3D clouds, appears to be a minor update IMHO. Some of the big update features that where hyped in the prerelease promo material were route building tools. In fact one of the main features of the game that is hyped by DTG in their promo material in general is the ability for a player to create their own worlds. Strange that the last time any official documentation that was released on route building tools and techniques was five years ago! While the game is promoted as a game where a player can create their own worlds, which is true if your willing to spend hundreds of hours scouring forums, youtube, and experimenting on your own with trial and error to gain any insight in to how it's done, it's obvious that DTG's official position is to leave the "mystique and art" of route creation shrouded in secrecy best left to them. !*not-ok*!

By trial and error, I have found that the track laying feature has greatly improved. I did not find any information that specified what the procedures were. Maybe I didn't look deep enough. Anyway, I find that laying straight lengths of track is relatively simple and adjusting the direction is somewhat improved with the new gizmo's.

There are tons of improvements that could be made to the system. Scenery objects, for example could be organized a lot better. A data base designed to list the objects by: Item name/type or style/size/season/RR/Developer/loft or fixed/etc.

Seems once the track is laid, I spend countless hours looking for just the right piece of scenery to fit the area that I'm working on, only to find, sometime later, that what I was looking for was listed in some other area or developer of the data, or doesn't exist at all. That's just one area, I could probably find several more.
