Dissappearing (Invisible) Track after Track.bin changes

Unread postby xxuntitledxx » Tue Sep 23, 2014 11:07 pm

Hi All,

Luckily I'm not too annoyed I did this but any help would be appreciated.

So long story short, I have all my mainline track laid for my Lehigh Line route and I'm working on getting speed limits and what not put in the route. Come to find I'm using multiple Track rules and TS 2015 doesn't like that. So I went ahead and changed all the different track rules to the same track rules via editing the BIN file in an XML form. Converted it back to BIN and now I'm where I am.

Now here's my problem, all the track that was the different rule other than the one I chose is invisible, it's still there and I can select it, but I just can't see it. I know this seems to be a problem and was wondering if anyone can lead me in the right direction so I don't have to go and relay everything.

Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks,

Ken

Did you save a backup before you edited the bin? If you did, restore the backup and just change the track rule in the simulator while doing speed limits. It's tedious but you can change the track rule in the right side flyout where you change the speed limits.

Really? I did not know that... Yes, Luckily I did save the old Track.BIN file as well as the rules file....I'll have to swap it back I guess... no big deal...

Thanks for the help! !!*ok*!! I'll let you know how it goes.
