Norfolk southern ran the pepco branch (also called pepco lead) up until 2012. It served 2 industries PEPCO power plant and Robinson terminal. The service (P54) was one of the last active services that still used a caboose. If i plan to execute this project it will come with (hopefully) 3-4 repaints (VRE f59phi yes i know they dont own any) some vre cars and this sw1200 which was owned by PEPCO
The pepco branch still sees a local occasionally but currently pepco has been shut down and the Washington post sold Robinson terminal which was used to store papers.

It is a little branch line that runs off the CSX RF&P division where potomac yard once was.
What makes this branch line unique besides needing a caboose(BTW it was needed because it pulls into the branch in reverse with 2 locomotives usually a high hood gp38 and a dash 9 standard cab and it crosses a simi highway on the way to PEPCO) The last service was in 2012. What was strange was a year after the service "ended" there was one last service with 2 dash9s to haul a single grain car.
