Lost my route

Unread postby craigk » Fri Aug 22, 2014 2:54 pm

You know I am pretty new at route building. I know just enough to be dangerous. Some how my marker got moved and now I cannot find my route. I can see it on the 2d map but cannot locate it otherwise. Is there any solution for finding it or do I drop back and punt and start over. Thanks in advance for any help.

If it's a real-world route and you've used actual coordinates you can enter coordinates of a spot on your route in the fly out at the top of your screen

Well it is not a real world route. So I'm thinking I might have lost it. Oh well, I do like route building.

Try this and see if it works. Lay some track wherever editor opens up, then look on the 2d map where the new track is in relation to your old one. Then fly in that direction, and hopefully you'll find it.

Fortunately, you can change manually the location of your route marker.
This tutorial is for scenario markers, but you can adapt it easily:
