You can either go into the 'Build' section from the main menu. One of the choices is to clone route. If you have RWTools go into the Route building tab.

I always use RWtools in the route building tab click on check routes and scenario's click on the route you wish to clone below the routes are tabs click clone route, it will then give you a option to re name the route then it will ask you if you wish for the route to show up in your normal list click yes and away you go..

Copy the scenario back to the original route?

Well, I just have to ask: 1) what led you to clone the route in the first place? 2) after cloning the route, did you make any changes to it? 3) why did you write the scenario using your clone rather than the original route?
4) Have you ever hears of the KISS rule?

Every time you clone a route, no matter which method you use, the clone receives a code number that is different from that of the original route; since the scenario editor uses the route's code number (or that of the clone) to associate the scenario to the route (or the clone), I'm pretty sure that copying a scenario written for a clone into the original route's folder will not produce a playable scenario and may even cause errors or crashes.

Again, have you ever heard of the KISS rule?
