Blend Test (star date log 22-10-2159)
I made a mistake. I wanted to put a small drop of ground texture in a spot but I messed up putting a large number... odd thing was I saw an effect I'd like to see more of, better blending. Following up on the mistake I thought maybe I was tweaking the numbers the wrong way. So off to White Sands I went to test my theory. Here's the results. Note the subtle blending of two textures.
I first put in a large number, like 60 or more, into the first box I call, the "first box." (said with straight face)
Then, I put a very small number in the third box, which I call, the "third box". (said with same straight face)
Then using the appropriate mouse button (I use the left one, which I call, the left mouse button)
, I gently tap it once, twice but never quickly. This is giving me a subtle blending. Can't control it though. Well, yes you can. You may have noticed the textures fill more quickly if you place the mouse (which I call... the mouse...) pointing at the intersection of the grid lines. Wanna guess what I call the grid lines?
Anyway, I just thought I would pass this tip on as you know... Tori is such the hi-brow artist and I figured she'd want to know this.
John, the Marine (Sempler Fi dude) whom probably places his texture using the 1st Armored Brigade, probably doesn't!
