'T'

In olden days, when I created my route ( a couple of years ago), I got the dem data, used redem, etc. and then I could go around on my route and approach the edge of my terrain, and click on 'T', and lo and behold I had another tile of terrain.

Now I'd like to extend my route boundaries a bit, and 'T' does not work. Has the feature been disabled?

The import button in the painting tools menu replaced the T function, at some stage in the past.

Seems like when I made my route a couple of years ago I spent a week or so trying to get DEM data and massage it with REDEM in order to get terrain. This 'new' import feature (noted above) sure makes it all simple. I was dreading the effort required to extend my route, or even to create another one in a different location, but it's now incredibly simple: get the DEM data, unzip it to the Railworks DEM/SRTM folder, go to the world editor, go to the coordinates desired, and do the import. DONE.

Seems like I'm the last to find out about all the new features. Kudos to RSC for making it so simple. And thanks to cilldroichid1 for telling me about the import function.
