Unfortunately sounds pretty final. Given that nobody should be distributing files that aren't theirs to distribute, and that presumably thousands of hours of work have gone into making the current PRB route using 3DTrains assets, I'm guessing that this kills any possibility of newer players getting their hands on PRB. Very unfortunate, especially given the evident attention to detail that's gone into this route.

For those who have the necessary 3DTrains assets I will be continuing with the route although it's been quite hard to work up the motivation to do any work on it lately. Maybe I've put in 20 hours in the last 3 months as compared to 20 hours each and every week before the availability of 3DTrains stuff became questionable. Several people have asked me if it's possible to distribute 3DTrains' Tehachapi Pass and that I would not do. People have asked in a polite manner and have been understanding in my refusal to distribute stuff that does not belong to me.

I hope that the situation is resolved at one point but I have no special in with 3DTrains so I remain in the dark as many of you do also. There was a post (I think in the thread that AmericanSteam referenced) where a mod indicated that Trainsim had an arrangement with 3DTrains to distribute some of their products should a situation arise such as the one that exists now. No more information was forthcoming or has come to light since that post was made about a month ago.

The most important aspect of this, for me, is that hopefully Marc is okay and in the grand scheme of things the availability of his routes and assets are pretty far down the list of what I think is important.
Download the PRB from page 51 of the Powder River Basin thread.

As long as they are not used on any payware you can assume he has expressed no objection.

Thanks kindly for this! Unfortunately, I have a somewhat rookie question - where does the downloaded Scenery folder get placed? I'm guessing it'd be a few subdirectories deep in the Assets folder?

What does TS Tools say about those missing textures? 3DTrains' ScaleRail high resolution perhaps, which is a commercial payware no longer available now the 3DTrains website is down

I didn't have a Tehachapi folder in my 3DTrains folder, so I just made a new folder and named it accordingly. I still have large swaths of missing ground texture. Am I missing something?

(I do have all the rwa and dtg dependencies installed)

Do you have Sherman Hill? A lot of the vegetation is from there.
