Let's see if we can get this sorted out. We all started with zero knowledge so no worries on that account.
I don't know if there are any videos out there that deal specifically with Railworks files, maybe someone else can chime in they have come across any.
Let's take a look at your screenshot. First, the fact that you have anything displayed at all means you have the route in the right place since you were able to start it from the drive or build menu. It is missing some roads, some ground textures, some track and possibly a few buildings. The track that is there looks to be from 3DTrains Tehachapi Pass so I assume you have that, But let's verify that you have indeed purchased Tehachapi Pass from 3DTrains at this link:
https://www.3dtrains.com/products/rw/ro ... hapi.shtmlThe track that is missing most likely would be from Steven's Pass, pretty sure I used only track from Tehachapi Pass and Steven's Pass. So next step is verify that you have Steven's Pass. And as long as we are verifying dependencies, make sure you have Sherman Hill, Soldier Summit and have downloaded and installed RCAP from the file library here;
http://www.railworksamerica.com/index.p ... =22:modelsIf you have all of the dependencies mentioned so far then the only thing left is to make sure my assets file has been installed to the correct place. This file is available on page 47 from this link;
https://www.mediafire.com/file/lu7cbq83 ... s.rwp/fileOnce downloaded and unzipped you will have a folder called PRBAssets. Go down 1 level in that folder and you will see another folder called Assets. Now open up another instance of file explorer and place it next to the already open instance of file explorer - you should see something like this next screenshot;
Install Assets.jpg
So, in the left window right click and Copy the assets folder then move to the right window and with your cursor anywhere within the center panel (where all your Railworks folders are listed) do another right click and Paste. This will drop my Assets folder on top of the Railworks Assets folder and it may ask to overwrite if you already have some of the subfolders and files - respond yes.
Look at the full path names displayed in both of those windows, yours may not be exactly the same but they should be similar, depends on where you installed Railworks and where your downloads go.
Give me a bit of time here so I can find the exact spot where you took the screenshot and I should be able to tell exactly what assets are missing. While I do that make sure you have everything I've mentioned so far.
