Some more work on the Wilcott Branch, the new branchline that terminates in a small Vermont town

And also a shot from the other completed branch, because I can't resist.

I realized I haven't posted here for 4 whole days! egads! !*hp*!
Things are slow at the moment, it is finals week after all.
Here's some nice nature shots from Norbridge VT, however.

Boy, that Chacal is quick and his posting above has kicked me into doing what I was distracted from yesterday (wife called).

I have been working on scenarios for the TnB and realised that we needed some 52ft 6" Gondolas. Looking through my Assets and the RWA library I found New England Railroad Gons on the rare side. 43ft yes 52ft no. So I decided to have a go and the TnB one resulted. I threw in some simplified liveried BM and MEC as TnB would not have the monopoly. Based on the Great Northerner Allegheny cars they come in MT, Scrap, Sand and Gravel varieties.

The pics following are the result and as Chacal says : Now in the RWA library. Thank you Chacal.

See also the 55t and 70t hoppers posted earlier (page 4).

Thanks a million for these! Glad we got some New England gondolas with loads: the low-poly models from Portland Terminal were nice placeholders but weren’t cutting it completely. *!!thnx!!*

While I'm at it, I got some work done and added something I didn't initially plan on putting in: a tunnel.

New England, despite the topography, has few tunnels. Of the 6 New England states, however, Vermont has the most rail tunnels with 3. Why not add a 4th?

The exPRR 70T is for coal and is from the RSC Horse Shoe Curve route Payware

The 55t (and a 70t version) for Gravel or Coal are from the GreatNortherner GNRy assets Freeware (thanks Michael).

Soon to be in the library

I got bored so I worked on the route a bit more, before I head back to campus tonight for my last final of the semester, which is tomorrow morning at 8 AM. *!mad!*

I could only find 3 pics of NECR revenue stock all boxcars (one was an end only view) but here are my representations ready for Jack's elongated "main line" delivering the goods to the TnB

That's fantastic! We've been lacking in NECR content (despite them being a pretty large carrier up here) so these will be welcome additions.

Some early morning autumn railfanning in Henry Falls, a city in southeastern Vermont that combines the feelings of White River Junction, Bellows Falls, and Lowell.

I just wrapped up finals so I'm getting into the swing of things. Still might take a bit but we're nearly done. Again. I need to stop editing so much *!lol!*

I've been thinking about the 44-tonners for the T&B and was wondering if anyone would like to take the green T&B 44-tonner on the RWA file library and make it red? Bit of a silly request but I've been digging that Pinsly red and think it'd look pretty stellar.

I’m thinking 117. !!*ok*!!

Oh yeah, the color in that photo is faded. I’m pretty sure it’s the same color that’s been used on the S2 and SW1200, as opposed to the painful rose-cherry tint in that picture, as such.
