I'm pleased to announce that slick204 and thecanandianrail have joined our scenery team. We invite anyone who would like to contribute some time to contact me. You can do a particular town or stretch of country if you like or let me tell you what we currently need to get the first beta release ready to publish. This will for sure be a WIP so don't expect it to be a polished final route however we hope to bring you a good representation of Big Sky Country.

Spent the evening laying out the route for the Yellowstone River running near the tracks east of Livingston using Steve's (emdsd90mac) excellent MRL river loft. Now all I have to do is pull it out to the proper width and contour according to my Google overlay. pics to follow.

MRL trackplan. More track will be laid, particularly in Sandpoint, if what's here gets decorated. The route officially starts at Huntley, Montana.

Spokane,WA. When someone offers to decorate Spokane, I will lay more track to make it a nightmare to drive through.

Wally, you are a track laying machine! This is great to see!

BTW, I found links to some very detailed NP fog charts / grade profiles for this line. Would that be of any use to you guys?

...and if you do sign on with the team, please don't be "that guy" that gets the route with the intentions of doing a specific area and not communicate with PM'ed. You know who you are. All of us on this build team are highly upset at these actions. By all means, I am not trying to turn this thread into a mudslinging session, but I need to get my point across as this has already happened.

Ar ar ar, I only did from the entrance to Huntley Yard to Livingston on the east end. That was 20 hours over a week. Lots more to do when I get the route back. The block seperators in the yards were the tedious part. But Ai will be able to run over every track. The block seperators are the RR Ties near the switches.

That's some good stuff Bob and I notices all of the separators as well. Billings was probably a pain in the rear with all of the trackage that's there, but well worth the effort. Again, a huge thank you for your support Bob, we all really appreciate it! !*cheers*!
