But I also have installed some asset sets and single items which I apperantly can't find in the editor. Though there are lots of things to choose which never appear on the "Hagen-Siegen" route (mostly british houses and signals). So how does the editor load the assets to a route and how I can I tear them apart from default stuff to extra content?
If you cloned the "Hagen-Siegen" route using the default way in RW then you get nothing copied across except some default fault files to get you started. If you copied the folder and renamed some files and deleted what you don't want then that's a completely different story. Assets that you have installed that you know are in your Assets folder along with all other assets have to be "added " to the available list so you can place them in the world editor by ticking the Provider ( Builders name ) in the right side flyout in RW.
Here is an simple example on how to do that with a loco for a scenario but the principle is the same for world editor adding:

Toldrabald wrote:And a question for the future: when I want to give away my route (if it ever reaches a status where I can do this) how would I include stuff, that RW has not by default but I have made use of on my route? Or is it done by the export feature by default?
Mike Simpsons RW_Tools does that automatically and prompts what are default, etc and do you wish to add by a yes / no prompt. In RW's when you package your Route you have to tick the boxes of the Assets that you have used and this can be hard, so document ( record ) what you use as this helps very very much. Payware and certain default files will not let you package them as they are Protected Assets ( you will see they are colored blue ).
This is the hardest part when packaging a route because you have to know what you used, aside from payware. Is it all default, do you have that third Party developers permission if he states so....etc, etc. If it's a big Route then your package is going to be of reasonable size. One option for you is to note in your readme file that " to run this route you must have this & that installed ". And to some folks this may be a " no thanks "...as they have to download maybe some payware stuff, chase up several downloads of third party material just to run your freeware route.
Hope this answers some of your queries...
