I fascinated what you did as well as why it's working here with a empty Childs folder.

Not quite Buzz. The Child Folder is all there and functional, please see my latest post : the making of G12-13 for a partial answer.

Again, it's a problem of having the right name but the wrong postal address !*roll-laugh*!

OK mystery solved. What I did was changed the textures needed on the original CN992 to make it look like the QMI. When I created the QMI I forgot to change the CN paint back to the original so all this time I have been looking at the ones in the wrong loco hence why it worked here but not elsewhere.
In any event I changed all of the Childs over to QMI and the loco bins over to match the modified Childs bins. Now this puppy uses none of the textures from the CN version.

Beta going out today so hopefully I'll have this to Chacal tomorrow. In any event if it works OK I'll do a temporary link link here.

Currently working on optimizing the route and finishing up minor odds and ends.

In the meantime, here's some airborne shots of the city of Holland, the route's western terminus. This city is by far the most ambitious urban/industrial space I've ever attempted, beating out Branford by a long shot. Heavy inspiration from St. John's, Halifax, and other Canadian maritime cities.

Full disclosure: for rail barge and vegetation purposes, the Alaska Railroad has been added to the list.

Nice work man. Do you have a list of what it requires? Wanna grab anything that's on sale on Steam while I still can

Sure thing, though it’s a bit longer than past routes I’ve done. The list is:

Portland Terminal (RWA Freeware)
Columbia Valley Pacific (RWA Freeware)
Bessemer and Lake Erie - Pennsylvania Steam (RWA Freeware)
VNHRR - Springfield Line (Steam Payware)
RWA Lakeside (RWA Payware)
Boston & Albany (Steam Payware)
Alaska Railroad (Steam Payware)

Do you have any updates to share regarding your route? I was really looking forward to it especially with that city/industrial area. It looks very nice!

So uh, the new update has brought an interesting issue.

Nothing with the route, don't panic!!! In fact, I was just on the route to beta test parts of its operations, fixing some speed problems and whatnot. It's more an issue with some of the repaints, specifically QCRail's GE 44-tonners, for some reason all three.

Image

Does anyone know why this might be occurring, or potential fixes? I really love these and QCRail did a good job on all three of them, so I would be sad to see them broken like this.

EDIT: Turns out, if you have your graphical quality turned up all the way, it messes with repaints. False alarm!

Graphical quality should not have any effects on paint. I play with it set to maximum.
