Works now, thanks. Now to get to work on these tight switches!

This is just what I was looking for also. I have some "tight radius" industrial trackage that I need to create for my Bandini & Eastern route. A followup question though. Is there a way of creating a 5th track type and name it Industrial? I'm already using 3 out of the 4 types (mainline, freight, yard), and really don't want to mess with those settings. I suppose I can always change Passenger, but I would like to keep that for any large radius curves. Also, if I do change the track rule bin file, will it mess up the track I already have laid? Thanks!

I think I can answer the second question. In order to create gradual increase in gradient whilst retaining consistent radius around corners (non-superelevated yards and spur corners atleast), I've been editing the "Main" minimum radius in the .bin file to what's required, then laying track tight to said radius in short incriments with low increases in gradient resulting in nice smooth transitions all-round which look and feel (when driving) realistic. The moral of the story is, I've been setting the track .bin, laying some track, changing it again, laying more etc... It seems that once the track is laid, it makes no further reference to the track .bin. As far as the first question goes, if the answer is "No", then try my technique for your tight industrial curves. Someone correct me if my method is going to cause headaches later on please !!*ok*!!
