And the answer is that you are seeing the lower resolution version (nmc) opposed to the (nm) version. The are a couple of ways to fix this oversite by the author. The easy one is to crank up your resolution so the sim is looking at the other version. The other way if you know how is to open the Hood_nm in DTXBmp and save it in the lower resolution using RSBinTool. If you don't know how to do that holler and I'll make you a new Hood_nmc.TgPcDx file so you can have the black roof.

Here you go. Just uncompress it and drop it into the EL Engine texture folder. It should ask you if you want to overwrite if you're putting into the right place and say yes.
