In order to help you, I'm going to need some data.

Have you imported ALL of the DEM data for your route yet?

How many tiles on either side of your main line have your imported terrain for?

This is pretty important... just to be clear, you are saying that the route origin point used to be somewhere else, and is now near Bakersfield. To clarify, when you say 'route origin point', you mean the coordinates that appear in the 'Build' -> 'Route' tab as shown below.

Or do you mean the the starting point when you load the route in the editor has changed?

I've imported all the terrain data I will need for the route at the moment. I imported the data in 19x19 tile chunks.

As for the starting point, it is the train icon that appears when you first create a route. It used to be located at Los Angeles Union Station, but it somehow has moved to a point just outside of Bakersfield.

I just checked and it says it should be at the specified coordinates, which are Latitude 34.055646°, and Longitude -118.234242°. The coordinates it is actually spawning at are Latitude 35.37817, and Longitude -119.33617.

Which RouteTemplate have you used? This file is linked in the RouteProperties.xml

That 'train icon' is the marker for where the 'scenario' starts you. When you create a route, a free roam scenario is created automatically which is where your 'route editor' will launch you to. You can move it around, or whatever with no actual effect on the true 'Route Origin'. The route origin is critical because your DEM, distant terrain, and Google Overlay all use that to locate themselves.

Just go to the Build -> Scenario tab and click on your route, then 'New Scenario'. This will bring up a menu. Choose 'free roam' then click on 'route origin', then click ok. This will make a new free roam at your actual route origin, and you can edit the route from there.

That seemed to do the trick, as it is reliably spawning the camera at Union Station. Thanks for the help! *!!thnx!!*

At some point in the future, I would like to get the route out to West Colton. The part I'm working on right now goes from Los Angeles to San Bernardino via Fullerton and Riverside. I'm still working around Union Station at the moment.
