This will be a route for the Workshop first, so I won't be able to upload custom models, and I don't have the skills to make assets like that for TS, but I can try and kitbash the bridge with existing assets and try to make it similar to the actual bridge. That being said, perhaps someone in the community who is more skilled at creating assets could make it.

Relaying the track at Truckee is proving to be more tricky than I remember it being - the siding arrangements as presented in the base route are off by a significant few details which take a while to fix !*hp*! . I might just remove the balloon track and the sidings, buildings, etc. and start the yard from scratch.

Here is the yard at Truckee as it stands now with the yard and balloon rearranged. Notice any differences?

Please note: I will switch the new switch stands over to their correct positions later. The switch stands are now more similar to what's seen on the Sherman Hill route and I'll switch the textures to Sherman Hill textures with RWTools as soon as I'm done.

Here's some shots of the map before the rebuild and after the rebuild, respectively.

I've worked my way down to Lawton just outside Reno. There's some sidings here (whether or not they're used by anyone I don't know, but the tracks are there so I'm putting them in). It looks okay, but...

The geography doesn't agree with me. *!sad!* More work for me. Aw well.
Here's more shots of the area.

Hey guys!

Class is in session, and I'm busier than I anticipated. Right now I'm getting my feet wet with the route building features in RW_Tools. I've got the track texture swapping down, now I'm going to play around with markers. I don't have internet in my apartment, but I do have Google earth installed on my computer, so if I can get a path with markers set up it would allow me to work on the route more from home without the need of the Google Overlay feature, which to be honest I haven't used for a while.

Sup?

I started work on the trench in Reno. The track is down (literally), but I need to clean up the edges and figure out the right gradient to get myself out of the trench on either end, adjust the signals, and lay down some scenery since the edges are more than likely not going to be pretty. Also I need to relay some tracks for the old branch that granted access for the former WP into Reno and sparks, and adjust an overpass which crosses over said piece of track.

Shots forthcoming once I've got it cleaned up a bit.
