That's a better answer than something about superelevation and easements. Not sure what that had to do with grades and how electric unit can handle them. The grades that are still visible on the local line here mimics what you commented, and many materials I have read about interurbans have another idea, thus the reason for my questions. So, the actual grades that are visible are actually true and believable, wow 5% amazing, thanks again Mdk103.

They weren't snide comments, you just took them that way. I have had several posts here that end up off topic when I was trying to find out some information regarding a problem or having a question. No problem, these forums aren't the only ones on the net. And, as far as your a.ss comment, I think that's the pot calling the kettle black.

I think that's the issue. If you just tell people to get on topic, chances are they will. No need for sarcasm.

I don't think anyone was calling into question your good intentions. As an example; if someone asks you if you know how to fix a lawnmower and you give them advice on how to better seed their lawn, that doesn't help them very much. Likely, they will become annoyed.
As you grow older you'll discover this yourself, I know I did.

Have a nice day!

do you think this length of track looks too unrealistic?

That was in your original question. I answered it by saying it looks unrealistic without super elevation.
