The USGS site/interface has had a facelift since that tutorial was written, but I assure you they absolutely still offer DEM data downloads.

My offer still stands about generating it for you if you would prefer. If you have a location in mind just PM me, or discuss it with me on the RWA discord voice is easier

Now i have a new problem, every time i a 1x1 more than ounce my game crashes

I'm struggling with this one... what do you mean by 'more than once'? Are you importing the same tile?

I cannot try to load a different tile without quieting train sim and starting again.

I will say this, compared to Giants Editor (fs17) railworks is heaven.
