I think if you get on top you will see they define the boundaries of the tile. If I remember right.

Yes, but the lines seem to be at different heights while the river level are all the same.

"river level are" in any event should be river level is and I still don't know what you mean.

Those lines that are above the river decal are at different heights for some reason. I'm just wondering if that means anything important. It doesn't seem to affect the river decal itself.
