The trouble with RWDecal is that you have to delete the decal in order to see track and/or roads. Not so bad with the former, but a PIA for the latter. Nevertheless, RWDecal was an excellent utility in the early days of RS/RW route editing.

I never had trouble with RWDecal for trackwork - maybe it's not so "nice" in mountainous areas?

Roads however ... ya ... was very difficult to lay them down with the decals.

GE took some getting used to, but is a great improvement.
