File sharing is easy - google drive. I upload the files - you import into A COPY of your route and we see what happens. We will start with the 9 tiles I reference and see what happens.

As far as Lat and Long go, we match perfectly. Tiles are off. My tile ID is in the screenshot. the "start" tile is +000003+000005 height is 2.0 - 10.0 depending on the elevation.

My start point is over by the Newark Bay Bridge.

Darn it all.
I'm not liking the mismatch - I have no idea how to renumber the content inside the scenery folders.

Well wouldn't it work based off of just the geographical location of each asset? It shouldn't have to completely worry about asset tile numbers.
Oh by the way, I am a part of the workshop releases for your route so it's already in my sim. I can always clone my route and try it?

I thought of that as well ... the corresponding grid number on the Bergen MUST be changed to that of the Lehigh line.
-Maybe Copy and pasted into your existing folder.

Hm... This gives me a little project to do after the holiday, I'll be away tomorrow and Monday, so maybe I'll start Monday night/Tuesday. This should be interesting...

I'm very interested to see what happens with this. Forget about the track for a minute. If you are able to get the buildings, the streets and all the little assets that are spread out there even if you have to drop them all, it's still worth it. It took me 2 months to do that.

And our routes would be linked by that yard. *!greengrin!*

This much I know about merging routes. They have to have the same start Lat/Long coordinates so the tile numbers are in the same location. Then, both builders assets will be in the correct location. Wherever the start location is; the tiles start at zero and spread out from there.

Understood, but if the buildings also use Lat. and Long. as positioning it should also work. I’m going to give this a try and we shall seee what happens. I’ll report back with what happens.

Argh, so I tried a couple of method's but nothing worked. I tried copying tile co-ordinates from one tile to the other, and changing route origin tile co-ordinates, but nothing seemed to work... back to the drawing board *!sad!*

Note: No harm was done to my original route, all was done on a testing clone.

Hey all,

Just a quick update...I've been working on the Newark end of he route...here's a ground level shot at High Interlocking (NEC side). I'm in the process of adding buildings and businesses. More progress shots to come soon!

Hey all just wanted to throw some progress shots up.

I have been working on the Oak Island yard area the past month or so, and I'm pretty satisfied with what I've done so far. Take a look below :D
